APPARITION
Released in 2012, The Apparition is a horror film about three college students who, by chance, unleased a deadly supernatural presence during a college experiment. Prologue produced the opening title and end sequence with Joel Silver.
The treatment used for both the studio logos and opening sequence was inspired by 1970’s 16mm home movies, and enables the viewer to get into the supernatural atmosphere of the film, from the opening logo scenes. The end title sequence leaves viewers with a reminder of the power of electricity within the film, using ghost like forms using light bulbs, power lines and flames.
